Stand Your Ground
What if the reason our prayers seem unanswered has nothing to do with God's willingness and everything to do with our consistency? This message cuts straight to the heart of one of the most common struggles in the faith walk: the temptation to quit before the breakthrough arrives. Drawing from the armor of God passage in Ephesians 6, we are reminded that our battles are not fought with human weapons or human effort alone. The spiritual armor God provides is not decorative, it is functional, and it is meant to be worn daily. The shield of faith, which quenches every fiery dart of the enemy, is built through repetitious hearing of God's Word. Just as physical fitness requires consistent training and not a single gym session, our faith is strengthened through ongoing exposure to what God has promised. We have often been conditioned, even rewarded, for giving up when things get hard. But the Word calls us to something different. It calls us to stand, and having done all, to keep standing. The enemy's primary strategy is not to attack us directly but to steal the Word before it takes root, because he knows that inside the seed of God's Word lies the power to bring every promise to pass. The question before us is simple but sobering: are we working the system God has given us, or are we expecting results without running the process?
